Bathroom Remodeling Services in Gretna Louisiana
Builders of the South remodels bathrooms across Gretna — walk-in showers in Old Gretna cottages, full renovations in McDonoghville, and updated primary baths in Timberlane. Many Gretna bathrooms still have their original 1960s–1980s tile, tubs, and fixtures: functional, but worn, hard to clean, and short on storage.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Gretna’s humidity and hard water are hard on bathrooms. Grout fails, caulk mildews, and older plumbing fixtures corrode faster here than almost anywhere else. We rebuild bathrooms with proper waterproofing behind every tile, quality ventilation, and materials chosen for West Bank conditions — so the new bathroom stays new.
CORE SERVICES
Full Bathroom Remodeling
Complete bathroom renovations in Gretna — layout changes, new fixtures, tile, and finishes handled by one crew from demo to final walkthrough.
Custom Shower Remodeling
Walk-in showers and tub-to-shower conversions with custom tile, built-in benches, and frameless glass.
Vanities & Countertops
Single and double vanities with quartz tops, soft-close storage, and fixtures that fit the way your household gets ready.
Tile & Flooring
Porcelain and ceramic tile for showers, floors, and walls — flat, level, and grouted to last in Louisiana humidity.
BENEFITS OF OUR LOCAL SERVICES
Moisture Done Right
Waterproof membranes and sealed systems behind the tile keep water where it belongs.
A Bathroom That Fits Your Life
Layouts, storage, and fixtures planned around your household’s routines.
Higher Home Value
Updated bathrooms are among the most requested features in Gretna’s housing market.
Easier Cleaning
Large-format tile and quality grout mean fewer seams to scrub.
3-Year Workmanship Warranty
Our installation work is backed in writing.
SERVICE AREAS
We remodel bathrooms throughout Gretna, including Old Gretna, McDonoghville, and Timberlane, plus Harvey, Marrero, Westwego, and Terrytown. ZIP codes served include 70053 and 70056.
PROS & CONS
Pros
Daily comfort
A bathroom designed around your mornings, not against them.
Strong resale return
Updated bathrooms rank near the top of what Gretna buyers look for.
Water problems fixed
Leaks, failing grout, and soft spots are repaired at the source, not covered up.
Cons
Upfront investment
A full remodel costs more than surface updates — and lasts far longer.
Short disruption
The bathroom is out of service while tile, plumbing, and fixtures are installed.
IMPORTANCE OF THIS SERVICE
In Gretna, a bathroom remodel is rarely just cosmetic. Original 1960s–1980s bathrooms hide slow leaks, soft subfloors, and failing grout that let moisture into walls and floors. A professional remodel fixes the waterproofing and plumbing first, then the finishes — protecting the structure of your home, not just its looks.
